people, the people you see when you are out and about – on the street, who you interact with, strangers, bus drivers, shop keepers, friends, family, your spouse, children, politicians on TV etc. – those people, in a very real and literal sense are you.

But also, importantly, in an equally real and literal sense - they are not.
